Chilli is still waxing but her udders actually loosened up while she was out today – can you believe it?! Tonight the baby was really moving around – hopefully getting into position to exit!! I’ll be checking on her every few hours – don’t think I can stay up all night for the third one in a row…

Chilli is going between waxing and dripping milk all morning. She has already wanted to come in for the day and is hanging out in front of her fan. I finally got the new sand in for her stall, so I am on my way out to get her stall fixed up. If all goes normally, she should foal tomorrow late afternoon, early evening. This is the longest she has held on to a foal and she usually has such big babies, I am hoping all goes well…

Chillis’ udders did not go down all the way today while she was out like they have been doing. They are filling up quite a bit over night and her belly is looking much lower (if that is possible!). Thinking some time this week…

Chilli is beginning to develop some good size udders already. She usually foals anywhere from 2-3 weeks early and has milk streaming from her nitties a few hours before she foals. We never miss a Chilli baby!!
