2011 Foals…

Below is a list of the six mares that we have due this year.  340 days is the normal gestation period; since the lungs of the fetus develop last, 320 days is a critical date for the mares to make.  We have good records on all of our mares and watch them very closely.  We have them monitored on cameras the closer they get and keep all night vigils…

Mari ~ COLT by Charro!

Leza ~ bred to Charro; due April 6.  Leza is a purebred Kiger, this is her third foal for us (though she has had previous foals).

Tasa ~ bred to Gringo; due April 18.  Tasa is a purebred Kiger, this will be her first foal (and Gringos too!).

Chilli ~ bred to Gringo; due April 28, but always foals two weeks early.  Chilli is an Andausian/Arab cross, this is her tenth foal.

Morgan ~ bred to Charro; due June 8.  Morgan is a Quarter Horse, this is her third foal for us (though she has had previous foals).

Nesa ~ bred to Charro; due June 15.  Nesa is a purebred Kiger, this is her third foal for us.
